what fooods and driinks can be found in the bahamas??
Depends! If you are in the south Bahamas, you will find the touristy places, with all the usual. In the north, around the Abaco islands, it is more native.

Chicken, steaks, fish and such. And at the Harbour Island, they have a drink called a "Painkiller". It has three kinds of rum and much more. No pain till morning.

In Hurricane Hole, a small island near the south east part of the Abacos, I had one of the best cheeseburgers, and the coldest beer I have ever had.

Local foods are shellfish: conch and crawfish (like lobster). Conch comes from a shell and is cooked as conch fritters (fried in a dough), conch salad, cracked conch (dredged in flour and fried) and conch chowder (like spicy Manhattan clam chowder). The local fish are grouper and red snapper. Deserts are guava duff, coconut cakes and pies. There are lots of local fruits like papaya, guava, soursop, and mango. Non-alcoholic drinks are coconut juice, limeade from native limes and sour oranges. There are lots of alcohol drinks made from rum.
